Creativity and Writing Coaching
Jane Thatcher Hahn
Think creativity might be a way forward into your best self, but don't know where to start? Have a creative project that's hard to start, finish, or complete? Want to experience more meaning, purpose, and connection through art making?

As a creativity and writing coach, I help my clients:
-
Identify and develop their creative voice, even if they have no prior experience
-
Start, finish, and market creative projects of all types
-
Bust through fear and creative blocks that are holding them back
-
Identify income streams related to their creative dreams, or in support of their creative dreams

I am a musician, writer, therapist, and entrepreneur. My parents rerouted the money they saved for my wedding to help me fund my first album of original music at age 16 (thanks Mom and Dad!). Since then, I've released original music and videos, performed, and toured while finding creative ways to sustain a life in the arts. I've taught and facilitated creativity and music in the community for over a decade, as well as created my private therapy practice, Grit Therapy.

I believe that life can be meaningful and wild. I am passionate about helping people find their most authentic voice, and to live a deeper, more meaningful life through creativity. I also strongly believe that artists should thrive emotionally, creatively, and financially. If you're ready to take the next step, big or small, reach out today!
Writing & Poetry Coaching
Joy Roulier Sawyer
Maybe you've always wanted to write. It’s felt like an intimate secret, a desire close to the bone. Tender. Vulnerable. You’d love to get feedback from another writer & poet, to learn and grow and maybe even publish. But you know you’d need the right person: encouraging, experienced, and above all, someone who cares about your writing.
I’m passionate about seeing writers thrive--and I'd love the chance to work with you!

I’m the author of two poetry books, Lifeguards (Conundrum Press), and Tongues of Men and Angels (White Violet Press), as well as several nonfiction books. I’ve published essays, fiction, and poetry in diverse journals such as Books & Culture, Inklings, LIGHT Quarterly, Lilliput Review, Mars Hill Review, New York Quarterly, Ruminate, St. Petersburg Review, and many others.

I’ve also won awards for my creative writing, teaching, and poetry therapy work, including NYU’s Herbert Rubin Award for Outstanding Creative Writing; Lighthouse Writers Workshop Beacon Award for Teaching Excellence; and The National Association for Poetry Therapy’s Distinguished Service Award.

Wherever you are on your writing journey, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Please contact me today for a free consultation!
